William Fairbairn - Entertainer/Composer

"I want to be playing until the age of 80..." So are the words from the then 7 year old who was about to record his first CD 'William Alive'. Six years on and William's passion for music hasn't changed, nor his ability to compose award winning piano compositions, including top 15% in the 2008 UK Song Writing Competitions. Since five-years old William has been knocking out interesting tunes far beyond his age, now completing grade-8 piano! From a classical background jazz, blues, pop, rock, country and good old fashion R&R is much to his credit. March 2010 gave William the opportunity to meet Sir Cliff Richard during his tour with the Shadows. Like Sir Cliff, his fans are following this talented young kiwi musician on his journey into the great wide-open to what should be an interesting and exciting ride.
